Families First Campaign

With school campuses closed and students learning remotely, families face the unprecedented challenge of recreating school at home. The Partnership has joined with Sarah Treem and Adam Shapiro of the hit TV show The Affair to lead the Families First Campaign. For their generosity, donors will receive a gift from Adam’s newest venture, Shappy Pretzel Co. The Partnership’s Families First Campaign will empower families with technology, training, and resources to ensure that every student has access to high-quality learning opportunities at home.

Details on the Families First Campaign
The Families First Campaign is designed to provide students with critical technology to support online learning and their families with the training and resources to help their children access a high-quality education from home. Through our programs, parents are able to learn strategies to help their children with distance learning, how to navigate online learning platforms, and how to communicate with teachers to ensure students are on track. The Families First Campaign will provide families with the resources to engage with online learning, including reliable internet connectivity, noise-cancelling headphones, laptops, and other technology.

Where Your Donation will Go:
Funds from our Families First Campaign will support parent engagement and empowerment programs; direct resources to families that are suffering from food, housing, and other economic insecurities; learning technology for students; and advocacy efforts to amplify the voices of parent and promote policies that address their acute needs.

What is Shappy Pretzels?
The Families First Campaign is being supported by Shappy Pretzel Co. Donations above $100 will receive a voucher for free delicious pretzels from Shappy! Details on redeeming the voucher will be included in an email sent along with your donation receipt.
