On Wednesday, June 28, Partnership co-founder Melanie Lundquist and CEO Joan Sullivan traveled to Washington DC for a day of events advocating for educational equity and sharing lessons learned through the Partnership’s first decade of work in public school transformation.
The day’s events began with a conversation between Ms. Lundquist and Politico CEO Patrick Steel, discussing the Partnership’s work and commitment to providing a high-quality education for all students in front of an audience of sector leaders.
Ms. Lundquist and Ms. Sullivan also attended a meeting with Democratic Whip Hon. Steny Hoyer, addressed the California Democratic Congressional Caucus at a luncheon hosted by Hon. Lucille Roybal-Allard, and addressed the Poverty, Income Inequality & Opportunity Task Force.
