On May 16, 2019 over 500 people joined us as we honored students, parents, teachers, school leaders, and community partners at our annual UPawards ceremony. This year’s theme was “It’s In Our Hands,” inspired by James Baldwin’s powerful words: “Everything now we must assume is in our hands; we have no right to assume otherwise.” Big thanks to Santee Education Complex for being our gracious host, and special thanks to Santee’s Glee Club and Jazz Band for their spectacular performances!
