The Partnership Difference
As an “in-district” partner to LA Unified, we offer our schools such supports as capacity building for teachers and administrators and on-site community partner programs. As a result, our schools are able to offer a variety of enriching activities to students, school staff and families as well as the communities we serve.
Our 18 schools provide a safe and welcoming environment for students, families, school staff and community members. We incorporate nationally recognized literacy and math curricula in our classrooms to challenge our students and better prepare them for college readiness and completion. Our signature program, College Compass, also offers individualized data to students and families to allow academic goal setting and review progress against goals three times per year. Our curriculum is paired with blended learning technology to develop new learning opportunities. Also provided are restorative practices for all students and school staff which promote healthy dialogue and positive conflict resolution.
In addition, our Partnership parents benefit from our innovative Parent College program, and opportunities to advocate for equitable education through United Parents for Educational Justice (UPEJ) — a parent organizing and advocacy group that focuses on policies that will improve LA Unified schools.
