On Saturday, February 23, 2019, nearly 1,000 parents and children from our network of schools in Boyle Heights, South LA, and Watts joined us for our 9th Annual University Day hosted at Cal State University, Northridge. University Day is an event designed to immerse students and parents into the college experience. The day’s activities featured numerous speakers and focused on the application and admissions process, student life on campus, the financial aid process and tours of the university’s campus. In addition, University Day introduces students to a school they might consider attending as they go through their selection process. ABC channel 7 stopped by to highlight some of the day.
