On August 7, Partnership teacher Alicia Morris from Mendez High School was featured in the Teacher Spotlight series by LA School Report. The Q&A with Ms. Morris describes in detail her “Computer Science for All” initiative at Mendez High. The LA School Report cites a study which notes that computer science is not offered at 61% of high schools in California. Ms. Morris is leading the charge at Mendez High by helping her students gain access to technology and computer science courses. Read more here.
