On Sunday, September 15, 2019, Santee Education Complex Principal Susana Ansley-Gutierrez received the Hispanic Heritage Leadership Award from the Los Angeles Rams. The National Football League (NFL), Hispanic Heritage Foundation, and Nationwide partnered for their ninth annual NFL Hispanic Heritage Leadership Awards. The awards recognize the outstanding leadership of each awardee within each local NFL market. Each award recipient was recognized at a game or event hosted by their local NFL team. Along with the recognition, the 32 awardees also received a $2,000 donation with support from Nationwide. Congratulations to Susana for this achievement!
