In July 2015, LA Unified invited the Partnership for Los Angeles Schools to manage 107th Street. With only a month to plan before the start of school, the Partnership rapidly assessed the needs of the school, hired a new principal and began supporting 107th Street with its capacity-building and advocacy model. This report details the context for the Partnership’s transformation efforts, how the Partnership’s model was applied at 107th Street, and the outcomes from year one and priorities heading into year two.
