Join us for a webinar, hosted by EducationWeek, on how providing the highest quality curriculum helps level the playing field in math classrooms so that all students are equipped to get to and through college on a path to rewarding 21st Century careers.

For decades, mathematics has been a de facto gatekeeper to future success and upward mobility for Black and Latinx students, and students experiencing poverty. To make math a gateway to opportunity for students of color and low-income scholars, we must:

    • Examine and elevate experiences that students have in math classrooms;
    • Create strong systems around curriculum to support change in district culture, school culture and classroom culture;
    • Disrupt traditional American math practices and adopt high-quality math curriculum; and
    • Build systems around high-quality math curriculum to pay back the education debt we owe marginalized students.
