Thanks to The Daniels Family, each student at 107th Street Elementary and STEAM Magnet School received a new pair of shoes in late May! The Ellen DeGeneres Show and Cheerios partnered to give the Daniels family their own series – “Do Good Daniels”– and $500,000 to give back to deserving people. Christi and Robert Daniels have a personal connection to 107th Street Elementary because three of their children attended the school. It was their sons’ idea to provide new sneakers to every student at their alma mater. What a great reminder that we all play a role in empowering our communities.
