Highlights
Our past work has strengthened math instruction across our network by investing deeply in the adults who shape teaching and learning every day.
Through our Teacher Leader Cadre, we equipped department chairs and grade-level leads with the facilitation skills and curriculum expertise needed to foster authentic, collaborative learning among teachers.
Our math instructional coach training sharpened coaches’ observation skills, built structures that maximized their impact, and developed their ability to advance more equitable instruction.
Lastly, we trained a hand-selected group of classroom teachers to become expert facilitators of adult learning. Now, this team of PD leads facilitates ongoing professional learning for teachers using Illustrative Mathematics across the district, and their trainings consistently receive stronger, more positive feedback than similar sessions run by external providers.
“The [teacher leader cadre] sessions felt perfectly timed and aligned with what we were preparing to discuss with our department. Being on the same page as Partnership built confidence for my coach and me to bring this work to our teachers.” – Administrator

“Lesson Labs help us, especially newer teachers. It’s been hard to get the full feel of the curriculum when not everyone has been trained on how to use it, but Lesson Labs are helping us see important components like support for English Learners.” – Teacher
